Meditation, Energy Work, Yoga, Aromatherapy & Wellbeing

Welcome. I am Uta Opitz.

It is my passion to inspire human beings into and alongside their spiritual journey and guide them towards their inner light.

As your spiritual guide, I share the practices and studies that have had an impact on my own growth and that enable me to live a happy and balanced life.

A session will be tailored to you and may include guidance on awareness and meditation, breathing exercises and yoga, education on nutrition and essential oils and how to incorporate them into a healing lifestyle.

I offer energy healing in person and over distance as well as training courses in Reiki Level 1, Level 2 and Reiki Master Teacher in Usui lineage as well as Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master.

I look forward to exploring and growing with you.

some of my background

Energy work
My first experience with energy work was a Reiki session which completely changed the course of my life. In that first session which I received from what would later be my teacher Anne Hillenbrand, I felt a peace and a love inside of me, that I had not known before. I also saw what I later learned were Chakras or energy centers. The experience was so profound that I knew I had to learn Reiki. Now I know that no two sessions feel alike and that what I saw in that first session had to happen exactly the way it did in order to shake me awake. I soon began studying and practicing Reiki and in 2013, Anne attuned me to be Reiki Master Teacher. I began practicing and teaching Reiki in the Usui Reiki lineage.
Since then I have trained in Seichem Reiki with Amanda Romania and received training with William Lee Rand as Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master.
Over the years I have also been learning the healing properties of crystals and essential oils, so I often incorporate these into my sessions. And essentially my studies are ongoing, I am constantly learning new techniques that I incorporate.

Meditation
My first experiences with meditation happened in 2009 when I began a quest for a meaning of life. Since 2011 I have participated in many meditation retreats including multiple 10 day silent Vipassana meditation retreats in the tradition of S.N. Goenka. I have had the honor to study with Ram Dass, Krishna Das, Lama Surya Das, Jack Kornfield, Sadhguru, Thich Nhat Hanh, Sharon Salzberg, and many others. Meditation and chanting are part of my daily practice and I continue to explore deeper levels of my own consciousness. I am grateful that I am able to share these practices with you.

Yoga
In 2009 I began a search for a deeper meaning of life and began exploring all styles of yoga I could find at the time, from Iyengar to Kundalini to Flow and Bikram. The first practice that really got my attention was Jivamukti Yoga which I experienced in Berlin at the time. In 2011 I began to practice and study Yoga in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. I completed the Yoga Alliance teaching certificate and completed Ashtanga Primary Series and Ashtanga Second Series trainings with Tim Miller in Encinitas, California.
